Taxis are available, but a car is advisable since Hummingbirds Home is located on the north side of the island. You will be met at the airport and shown to the property, which is located about six miles from the airport and five miles from the main town of Charlotte Amalie.

The beaches are obviously one of the reasons you would choose to visit the U.S. Virgin Islands -- and you won't be disappointed. From soft white sands to glorious blue and white contrasts, you will find picture-perfect stretches. If you prefer more secluded spots, you will find them also. Without a doubt, the U.S. Virgin Islands has a beach to suit every taste.

Perfectly situated in the picturesque seaside Estate Tabor & Harmony, Hummingbirds Home offers one-bedroom deluxe studios, all with a king-size bed, a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area, cable television, a telephone for local and 800 calls, a private safe for your valuables, and one 18" pedestal fan.

Additional amenities of our studio rental include a VCR, a 27-inch TV, 13 inch TV / VCR combination, stereo, movies, books, a refrigerator and dishwasher, coffee-maker, toaster, stove, microwave oven, all utensils, and central air- conditioning. There are also beach towels, snorkeling equipment (must advise shoe size), and a cooler for trips to the beach and around the island, for your use.

Our spacious 515 square-foot deluxe studio has a terrace that leads out to the 356 square-foot swimming pool. This direct-access studio truly has all the comforts of home and then some! Special features include a 96 square-foot front porch, a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining area, tiled floors throughout, and a gorgeous view of the ocean.

The bathroom have a large open-air shower, a lighted make-up mirror, and a hairdryer. The real plus to this room is being able to walk out of your back door and find a beautiful swimming pool right at your footsteps. The property consists of two buildings and pool. Each building has its own private driveway. Hummingbirds Home is located on the lower level which also includes the pool.
