Though not isolated because Port Antonio is just 4 miles west, Capricorn Villa provides the opportunity for a truly restful, rejuvenating getaway.

Located in a rainforest bird sanctuary, overlooking the deep blue Caribbean, the Villa is surrounded by orchid trees and exotic flowers and ferns. The Jamaican sun provides a golden tan to those who so desire. Beaches offer shade while you enjoy the legendary Caribbean Sea, and at San San Beach you can enjoy water in shade.

Activities abound: rafting on the Rio Grande River, the Musgrave vegetable, and arts and crafts market, bicycling tours in the Blue Mountains, 4 discos, ferry rides to Navy Island (67 acres once owned by Erroll Flynn), Non Such Cave and Reach Falls. Tours can be arranged.

Our Jamaican cook will spoil you with fresh fish, lobster, chicken dishes. Vegetables and fruit here are exquisitely fresh, all local. The property contains coconut, mango, papaya, sour sop and other indigenous fruit trees.

Port Antonio, just 4 miles to the West, has a population of approximately 8-10,000, and is off the routine tourist path. You may be the only non-resident in sight. It is a bustling, small town with interesting architecture and colors, a walking tour is a must!
