You'll fall in love with this beautiful five room stone house located directly on a gorgeous, secluded beach. This vacation home is positioned among the palm trees, which provide plenty of shade, on the calm bay side of the island, just steps from one of the prettiest and most pristine beaches you will ever see. Imagine azure waves gently lapping at the white shore as you sunbathe under the never-ending blue sky. This is swimmer's and wader's paradise. The beach gradually extends, coral free, far into the water. There is virtually no undertow or large wave in this cove. Farther offshore are reefs perfect for diving and snorkeling. Enjoy the beautiful view from our 42' x 17' patio overlooking the beach. The patio is secluded and complete with chaise lounges and BBQ. It is surrounded by palm trees. On the beach we have a 20'x 12' cabana with chaise lounges.
Beach combing is great on the Ocean side of the island. Tour Mt. Alvernia, the highest point in the Bahamas, and the site of Father Jerome's hermitage is a must. Visit the DeVeaux plantation house, indian caves, local craft shops and restaurants. Remember to drive on the left. Special diving and/or fishing arrangements are available. We have a vehicle for rent for $250.00 per week...No Daily Rentals. Gas must be supplied by guest.
