The Duck Inn
overlooks the beautiful Governor's Harbour beach, bay and bonefish flats facing
west across the Caribbean Sea into the sunset. Three colonial rental cottages
dating from the early 1800s nestle in our manicured tropical gardens and
orchards. The gardens home one of the largest private orchid collections in the
western hemisphere (over 4,000). All the recently renovated cottages have
air-conditioning, fans and fully equipped kitchens. They all have their own
private verandas and/or decks. They are decorated with period furniture and
orchids when in bloom. Fresh tropical fruits and herbs from our orchards for our
guests (in season). A short walk to several beautiful beaches including a
two-mile pink sand beach. The Duck Inn is a favorite retreat of acclaimed
authors and artists, bone fishermen and honeymooners.
