A limited number of these homes are available with luxurious pools. Three professional golf events have taken place at Tierra del Sol. Two Senior PGA Tour tournaments (Aces Championship) and a Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf Match between Nick Price and Paine Stewart. All three events were televised on ESPN. In addition to being a golf course and resort, Tierra del Sol is also a bird sanctuary where nesting grounds for a variety of birds such as egrets, wild parrots, sandpipers and burrowing owls are able to live and breed in a protected environment. The resort is also member of the New York Audubon Society. The island of Aruba is 30 KM long and 6 KM wide and it enjoys an average temperature of 82°F year-round with only 19 inches of rain per year, a friendly local population that speaks English, Spanish and Dutch fluently, an exciting nightlife or wonderful restaurants and 14 action-packed casinos, as well as a variety of water sports. Direct flights from Puerto Rico, New York, Miami, Houston, Caracas, Amsterdam and Bogota are available daily. Golf Package Inclusions *Airport Meet & Assist* Our representative will meet you at the airport upon arrival and assist with your check-in at Tierra del Sol * Special Rental Car Package* One compact rental car (a/c & automatic) can be provided for an additional Surcharge of $150.00 for one week. A minimum of a seven (7) night stay at Tierra del Sol is required. Airport pick-up and drop off available. Our representative at the airport will assist you with your rental car. Insurance and upgrades not included. *Unlimited Golf* Complimentary green and cart fee per person are included for unlimited play on our Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed golf course. Proper golf attire and spikeless golf shoes required.
